Place of our Own: Coolship Stout 5%

The coolship is doing wonderful things, or maybe the stout is, or we are, it’s hard to tell. There’s a correlation forming between the beers, an underlying, fruit-forward note, hard to define that keeps cropping up. We use historic British brewing techniques, and heritage floor-malted barley, raw regenerative YQ wheat and single farm UK hops.

There is a smooth, gentle roast, caramelised fig jam sweetness, biscuity moreishness and underneath all that ethereal fruity character that we think comes from whatever magic is occurring in the coolship.

Ingredients: Heritage malted barley, UK hops. Regeneratively grown YQ wheat, expressive yeasts, Cornish water. All our beers are Vegan and Lactose Free.
